| Spring Festival Tour in Jinan Hitting Historical Record |

According to the Municipal Bureau of Statistics and the Municipal Tourism Bureau, the city received 621.2 thousand tourists in the 7-day spring festival holiday, and the tourism revenue amounted to 330 million Yuan, up 14.8% and 20.1% respectively over the same period of last year. Both these two parameters ranked second among the 17 prefecture-level cities of Shandong province, hitting the highest record since the golden spring festival week.
During this golden week, the overall tourism situation in Jinan is narrowing its gap between that of Qingdao. The key reason is that our city has organized colorful holiday tourism activities this year.
Jinan is more famous for its folk tourism in spring festival. Activities are splendid and attract lots of tourists in all tour sites including Quancheng Square, Daming Lake Park ,Baotu Spring Park and Baimai Spring Park. Meanwhile, the winter spring tour retains its appeal. All the springs are competing their beauty, attracting many tourists of other cities to Jinan.
The booming holiday tours serve as the driving force to the business of catering, hotel, communication and other sectors. During the spring festival, the city received inbound tour groups from Japan, South Korean, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, the United States and Finland etc, charter flight from Guangdong and Hainan etc, and groups from other provinces in China.
