On the noon of September 1, deputy secretary of municipal party committee and Mayor Bao Zhiqiang met Mr. Zheng Yunshi, president of the central association of South Korean sightseeing association, and his group at Shungeng Mountain Villa Hotel. The purpose the guests came to Jinan this time is to take part in 2006 China (Jinan) International Tourist Industry Fair and the first session of China Aged Tourist Industry Fair.
Bao Zhiqiang said that, there are more and more South Korean enterprises to Shandong, Jinan for investment and development in recent years, which has impelled the exchange and cooperation of both sides in the culture, the trade, the tourism, the education and so on. At the same time, more Jinan tourists go sightseeing to South Korea. The conducting of China (Jinan) International Tourist Industry Fair is the exchange platform built by City of Jinan for the domestic and foreign related organizations devoting in the recommendation of local tourist products. Jinan will provide support with all strength to the tourist organizations from all places to develop recommendation. He hoped that both sides, on the base of strengthening communication, would unceasingly expand the area of collaboration and seek the development together.
