| JINAN, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- The General Logistic Department of the Chinese People`s Liberation Army (PLA) published "Provisions on the Integration of the Management of Assets and Budget" at a military conference on Monday. The new regulations is aimed at improving the management of military assets by adopting a budget-based mechanism to avoid overlapped procurement and reduce unnecessary spending, according to the meeting, which was held in Jinan, capital of east China`s Shandong Province. The new statute is composed of eight chapters and 38 clauses. |
