The multilingual service hotline 16882008 was launched yesterday in Olympic co-host city Qingdao to provide visiting foreigners services in their mother tongues.

It will provide information on travel routes, weather and sailing events.

The 24-hour service is provided in seven languages - English, Korean, Japanese, German, French, Russian and Spanish.
