BEIJING--Ayumi Tanimoto of Japan won over French woman Lucie Decosse by ippon to take the women`s 63kg gold medal at the Beijing Olympic Games here on Tuesday.

The bronze medal was shared by Elisabeth Willeboordse of the Netherlands and Im Won Ok of DPR Korea.
