>It is understood that the heat alerts can be classified into 3 levels, and they are yellow heat alert, orange heat alert and red heat alert separately. The orange heat alert can be issued when the highest temperature reaches over 37>>°C in 24 hours.

>Shandong meteorological observatory predicts that high temperature in Shandong will continue and at 7th, the highest temperature of most area in northwest, the center and south of the province will still reach over 37>>°C and the highest temperature in hinterland area of the >peninsula will be over 35>>°C.

>With regard to the high temperature, Shandong meteorological observatory suggests that department concerned should pay attention to preventing fire caused by the large consumption of electricity and heavy load of >wire and transformer and should prepare the heatstroke prevention work well. At the same time, protective measures should be taken for work under high temperature and long-time day work in the open air. Outdoor activities in the afternoon should be decreased.
