Longshan millet is a famous specialty of Zhongqiu City. In history, it has ever been one of the four national millets used in royal court. Legend goes that Longshan millet has a history as long as “Longshan Culture”. It began to be sent to the royal court in the Qing Dynasty. Longshan millet has very rich nutrition, according to testing, containing 5.26% fat, 2% higher than other millets, 10% protein, and also higher content of vitamins A, B1, and B2 than others.
